It's safe to say that this Supergreater lives up to her username; her glow does! not! quit! Like most of us, she had to learn about what her skin needs the hard way. "I remember years ago a girl at Sephora told me one of the reasons my skin was breaking out was because it was so dry," she says. "I've been hydrating tons ever since."
Some hydrating products she's tried and loved? Herbivore Botanicals Emerald Deep Moisture Glow Oil, Sol de Janeiro Bum Bum Cream, and Youth To The People Superberry Hydrate and Glow Dream Mask. Let's just say that if it's buzz-worthy, she owns it. And did we mention that she takes the most gorgeous product shots we've ever seen? See for yourself.
After seeing her serious collection of Herbivore, Glossier, Sunday Riley, Ouai, and Summer Fridays on her Instagram, we only have one question left; when is she inviting us over?! 😩
This Supergreater lived in Nashville for most of her life and moved to the Florida Keys during her junior year of high school. She's now attending college in Tampa. "I'm currently studying Integrated Public Relations and Advertising, with a minor in Communications," she says.
"One of my biggest insecurities is how quiet I am," she says. "I'm an extremely passive person and hate confrontation! That's something you can't really know through social media, since we all kind of put on a mask for the camera—no skincare puns intended." Even though she says she's shy, you wouldn't think so after watching her reviews. Case and point, her thoughts on Glossier Play Glitter Gelée. This is not the review of someone who we would describe as passive. And don't get it twisted—here at SG we value honesty above everything else.
Speaking of honesty; "You won't catch me smearing coconut oil all over my face," she says. "No matter what people say, I'm not doing it." Noted.
Oh, and Calum Hood, if you're reading this, our girl Stepstoglow wants to mask with you. "He's proven himself to be a mask lover, so I think it's meant to be," she says. She also likes to try masks that are a little outside the box, including ones containing snail mucus and Too Cool for School Egg Cream Mask, which she uses on her hair and skin.
If you have dry skin and you're after that dewy glow for the summer, look no further than Stepstoglow's over 80 reviews on the app, including this list of her favorite products under $20 (except for ColourPop's $22 It's a Princess Thing palette, but we'll allow it). We've said it once, and we'll say it again (and again); we stan a frugal queen.
Make sure you head over to our Instagram this weekend to see Stepstoglow's stories takeover, where she'll be answering questions about her favorite products and making more recommendations!
