Serums do it all; they absorb easily into your skin and they can treat skin issues ranging from dryness, excessive oil, hyperpigmentation, and rosacea. It might seem counter intuitive, but as we learned from last week's featured reviewer, serums and oils can even treat and prevent breakouts for people with oily skin.
The most important thing to remember when applying them is to not rub it in like you would a moisturizer. Drop a pea sized amount of product into your hands and them rub them together to activate it, then gently press and push it into your skin. Extra credit goes to those who then massage their faces with a jade roller or gua sha.
